BLACK TEA
The Sukhumvit Blend is part of Monsoon Teas's Bangkok Collection (along with Lumphini and Chao Phraya also available from SAL Society). This is a Black Tea that combines a full-body, lightly sweet black tea with smooth, silky lavender, deliciously sweet mango, and exotic spicy cardamom, producing an amber-brown coloured infusion.
This unique black tea from Monsoon Tea consists of fully oxidised tea leaves, hand-picked while growing in harmony with the forested mountains of Northern Thailand.
WILD
The tea is sourced from original Camelia Sinensis Assamica plant, unlike the conventional plantation tea plant often found in mainstream tea brands. These plants originate from the 'home' of tea - the mountain chain between Assam, India through Myanmar, Northern Thailand and Yunnan, China.
FREE GROWN
Generations ago, local farmers began planting the seeds of these wild tea plants in the forests from making "Miang" (fermented tea leaves) to eat. The tea leaves and buds are handpicked and used to make tea, free from pesticides and organic. This approach supports local farmers and prevents deforestation.
