Name: Village Project Coffee 

To support the enhancement of quality standards for Thai coffee, Left Hand selects an up and coming coffee producing region and assists them in gaining recognition thereby helping increase the sustainability of their revenue.

This coffee comes from a project founded by Silaa farms and is forest grown organic arabica from the Karen village of Mae La Noi, Mae Hong Son. 

Elevation - 1,000 meters 

Producer - Silaa Coffee farm 

Farmer - Khun Bida 

Process - Washed process 

Notes - 80% cacao, roasted macadamia, black currant 

Method - Espresso, iced or sweet milk coffees 

This product is sold as a whole coffee beans. So remember to grind them to release those amazing coffee aromas and the freshest taste!

Left Hand Roasters is a social impact Thai Coffee Brand, working closely with communities across Northern Thailand to support in their journey to becoming self-sustaining, through increasing their revenue streams, as well as, elevating the quality of Thai coffee on a local and global scale.

As a conscious endeavour Left Hand require the communities they work with to uphold standards of sustainability, biodiversity, human rights and regenerative agriculture. They hope to invest in more farms who continue to work towards these values and in turn, increase tractability and transparency for consumers about their products.

Beyond coffee beans Left Hand try to add value to beautiful coffee by-products such as Coffee Blossom and Cascara by repurposing them in a productive way and creating additional revenue for the farmers. The goal of Left Hand is to empower the people behind the product as well as highlight the potential of one of Thailand’s hidden gems: the coffee bean and their by-products.
